Privacy policy
This policy explains how EMAKI Creator processes personal data on emakicreator.com and emakicreator.es under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data-protection law.

2. Data we process
This site has no user accounts and no forms that post data to our own servers.
- On-device preferences: colour theme and cookie choice (browser local storage). See the cookie policy.
- Connection logs: like most websites, the hosting server may automatically log access data (IP, date, requested resource, user agent) for security and operations.
2.1 Instagram / Meta (technical note; pending legal review)
This site does not store Instagram accounts, access tokens, projects, or videos. EMAKI Creator tokens live in the local macOS Keychain. Meta may send a data deletion request to this domain; the server acknowledges it and confirms that there is no cloud copy of that data here. To remove a local connection, disconnect the account in EMAKI Creator. You can also write to hola@emakisound.com.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Running the site (theme, first-party fonts, security) — legitimate interest / strictly necessary storage under ePrivacy (GDPR art. 6.1.f).
- Handling enquiries by email if you write to us — legitimate interest and, where relevant, steps prior to a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b and 6.1.f).
4. Retention
- Contact emails: as long as needed to handle the enquiry and meet legal duties.
- localStorage preferences: until you clear them or withdraw consent.
- Server logs: according to the host’s policy and ordinary security periods.
5. Recipients
We do not sell your data. Access may be given, only when needed, to the web hosting provider (as a processor).
6. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and portability where applicable by writing to hola@emakisound.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
You can reopen the cookie notice anytime via the footer (“Change cookie preferences”) or the cookie policy.
7. Children
The site is not aimed at children under 14. If you believe a minor has sent us data, contact us so we can delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. Continued use after a material change means you have had the chance to review it.
